PROFILE
-40 years of experience-
My interest in the piano was born after listening to my mother studying her lessons when I was a few months old. At the age of five, I began to show lyrical ability, and although I was enrolled in private lessons, I was never good at reading music. Solfeggio and musical meter were very difficult for me, but my mother helped me study every lesson of the four basic methods.
However, studying piano lessons and by note wasn't something that fulfilled me. So at the age of 10, I decided to drop out of school to continue lyrical studies, also adapting my own musical arrangements to the music I performed by other composers.
At the age of 16 (in 1983), I suddenly began composing in an instrumental orchestral melodic style. In 1985, I began performing in public with a musical group and in 1986, I continued as a soloist. At 23 (1990), I recorded my first album, and in the following years, I had the opportunity to record other albums of my own music and that of other composers, all with my own orchestral arrangements. Most of my compositions are instrumentals with a romantic, cinematic style.
In the 1990s, I was inspired to study composition and attended the University of Guanajuato for a few years, but I continued to struggle with music theory and musical metrics, just like I had when I was little, so I gave up and continued my career performing recitals, composing, and producing music. From an early age, I was interested in focusing my career on offering piano recitals in concert halls with the aim of making music reach many people, and truly be a means of transmitting emotions with which the audience could delve into the depths of their being, which would allow them to have an inner communication, but also allow them to dream, open their imagination to create their own stories with music and this would lead them to feel fulfilled, full of peace, motivation and enthusiasm.
